I’m Simone Bell and I currently serve as State Representative for House District 58 of the Georgia General Assembly. District 58 encompasses portions of both Fulton and Dekalb counties, and includes the neighborhoods Grant Park, Reynoldstown, East Atlanta and Gresham Park to name a few.
I’ve served 3 sessions in the Georgia General Assembly and am honored to represent District 58.
My committee assignments include:
- Children and Youth
- Human Relations and Aging
- State Planning and Community Affairs
On these committees I’m a vocal proponent of the social justice and human rights implications of legislation, as it relates to women, children, the elderly, working families, the poor and the middle class.
I’m a member of the Bi-partisan Women’s Caucus, Dekalb County Delegation, Fulton County Delegation, Working Families Caucus and the Legislative Black Caucus. I also have the honor to serves as Deputy Whip, a leadership role within the House Democratic Caucus.
